Friday April 20th Oakwood/ Mountain View Performing Arts

We went straight from work to Mountain View Performing Arts Theatre to see John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Miriam, Selly, Paula,Sue, and Deirdre met Mary and her great crew for drinks and food and meet and greet with the Theatre Works actors and crew. Really alot of good food and drink( red and white sangria's), and the company was excellent!!!!! got to meet Mary's famous husband Cam :-) :-) and the play was very good. we stayed out too late, poor Sell's has to work this morning, as I only have to swim and lay by the pool :-)
found out the actors are living at Oakwood, how much fun is that?.... I didn't have my camera w/me so have posted with compliments from Google images.

"If you can spend a perfectly useless afternoon in a perfectly useless manner, you have learned how to live."

I went out with my camera today! Miraculous day! The sunshine and air were perfect and I felt absolutely peaceful and happy....... So, I walked and listened to the animals and flowers and thought how very very lucky I am....Enjoy these pictures :-)

"Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind."

"The supreme prayer of my heart is not to be learned, rich, famous, powerful, or good, but simply to be radiant. I desire to radiate health, cheerfulness, calm courage, and good will. I wish to live without hate, whim, jealousy, envy, fear. I wish to be simple, honest, frank, natural, clean in mind and clean in body, unaffected, as ready to say I do not know, if it be so, and to meet all men on an absolute equality, to face any obstacle and meet every difficulty unabashed and unafraid. I wish others to live their lives, too - up to their highest, fullest, and best. To that end I pray that I may never meddle, interfere, dictate, give advice that is not wanted, or assist when my services are not needed. If I can help people, I'll do it by giving them a chance to help themselves; and if I can uplift or inspire, let it be by example, inference, and suggestion, rather than by injunction and dictation. That is to say, I desire to be radiant - to radiate life."
